With the top half of the table back in reach, and with the feel good factor having returned to Rammy, the second of our back-to-back home games followed against historical bogey side Kidsgrove Athletic.

Back on familiar turf, we played host to our visitors Widnes for a much needed dose of home comforts. It has been a topsy turvy season to say the least!

We have rediscovered our mojo Ramsbottom, and doesn’t it feel nice!

A worrying drop in form of late has seen many Ramsbottom fans dreams of promotion drop off the proverbial cliff.

A couple of unwanted defeats in the past week has seen some questions raised as to whether we could keep up the standards of our early league form.

A nice warm night at the Riverside to enjoy tonight’s game against our visitors Colne FC, who boasted a welcomely boisterous travelling support who were in full song. 

A majestic performance and a clear reminder to the entire NPL that when this Rammy side turns it on, they really can turn it on!

Never mind the mint cake, could this Tuesday evenings jolly to the lovely market town of Kendal prove to be just the treat?

Diego Donafee sounded serious in his pre-match interview on the Ramsbottom365 site – this wasn’t just a cup fixture anymore, it was a game that we simply had to win.

The first league game back on home soil after two seasons of COVID cancellations was always going to be an eagerly anticipated occasion. Even more so when the fixtures were eventually announced – we would be competing against last year’s Merseyside FA Cup heroes.
