You’ll have noticed a new name on the Rammy team sheets during the last couple of games.

Signed just before the Kendal match was striker Luke Sephton. A versatile forward who is also happy to help out in midfield, Luke comes with bags of experience with clubs such as Widnes, Northwich Victoria, Pilkington and Warrington Rylands under his belt.

His career highlight so far was winning the league and gaining promotion to the Counties with his home town team, Pilkington.

Shortly after signing for the club Luke said, “I’m loving Rammy so far, I feel really relaxed here and just hope I can help achieve good things and push the club back up the ladder”.

Manager Steve Wilkes was delighted with the signing.

“Really pleased to finally get Luke in at Ramsbottom. I tried in the summer but was unsuccessful so happy he’s now on board.

“I’ve worked with Luke for a couple of years and know exactly what he’ll bring to the squad. And he can play in numerous positions which is an added bonus.”

Welcome to Rammy, Luke!
