Ramsbottom United have been able to acquire the services of Burnley FC youngster Jacson Coppack.

Jacson Coppack is the latest signing for manager Lee Donafee. The Chester born central midfielder joins the Rams not long after signing a one year contract extension at Turf Moore. Despite Coppack being a central midfielder by trade he has the versatility to play anywhere on the pitch and has shown that during his time with the Clarets.

Having already represented Northern Ireland at youth level internationally (qualifying through his family heritage) Jacson made the move to join Burnley from Everton. He progressed through the Toffees’ ranks from a young age.

Despite an injury hit campaign during the 2021/22 season Coppack still managed to rack up 11 appearances across the U18’s and U23’s combined.

Manager Lee Donafee told the Ramsbottom United website that “ We welcome Jacson to the Rammy family. The opportunity has come for us to bring Jacson to Ramsbottom and it’s an opportunity I didn’t want to pass up. I’m happy Jacson and Burnley have agreed for the move to happen and that we can help in Jacsons development”.
