HOLLAND-WILKINSON AGREES TO JOIN

We are delighted to announce that Jacob Holland-Wilkinson has agreed a deal to move to the Rams ahead of the new season.

 

The talented forward will join us from Chorley and was a product of the academy at Preston North End before being signed by Stoke City and playing in their Under 21 side.

 

A season at Lancaster City then brought 3 goals from 21 appearances in the Northern Premier League and the Rammy local is now looking forward to helping the club achieve its targets this coming season.

 

“Really excited to be joining Ramsbottom,” said Holland-Wilkinson.

 

“When speaking to Wilksy and Phil about the project that is going on here it was a no brainer for me.

 

“I have worked with Rob Henry at previous clubs and the way he coaches is a big plus for me too.

 

“Working and living in Ramsbottom all my life, the decision was easy and I can’t wait to get started!”

 

Manager Steve Wilkes commented on his new arrival the the HWRS:

 

“Really pleased to have got Jacob to agree to come to Ramsbottom.

 

“Everyone knows what a good player he is. He seems to have lost a little bit of confidence in the last couple of seasons but that’s my job to help him find that and his enjoyment for football.

 

“He’s a local lad which also means a lot to our fans and I’m really looking forward to working with him.”
