Women draw 1-1 in HWRS debut

Rachel Henry’s 10th minute strike was cancelled out shortly after as a healthy crowd enjoyed Ramsbottom United Women’s debut game at the HWRS in a friendly against The England Lionesses Supporters Team on Friday night.

Thanks to all who came along for the game, especially all the girls from Rammy Juniors U8 Bears, U9 Eagles and U10 Wildcats who led the players out on this historic occasion for women’s football at Ramsbottom, before going on to enjoy a half-time penalty shootout.
