Former Rams roll back the years

Former Rammy and Manchester United players rolled back the years in a thoroughly entertaining charity game at the HWRS earlier today.

 

In aid of Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, the Rams equalised twice with goals from Lee Pugh and Matthew Burke before a last minute attempted clearance rebounded into the home side’s goal to give United the win.

 

The result matter not, it was just great to see so many familiar faces pull on that blue jersey once again, with a couple of old songs getting a rare airing too!

 

So thank you to all who came down to cheer on the lads and all those who bought raffle tickets as well, all going to help such an amazing local charity.

 

Finally we’d also like to thank Loafi for supplying the fantastic cakes for our hospitality guests this afternoon.
