CROSS-ADAIR JOINS THE RAMS

20 year old forward is joining the Rams from Prescot Cables.

With our planned match at Glossop falling foul of the weather on Tuesday night, we’d like to take this opportunity to welcome Finlay Cross-Adair to the club after joining us from Prescot Cables.

The 20 year old forward is a product of the Preston North End academy, making his full professional debut back in 2022 with stints also under his belt with Fleetwood Town, Bamber Bridge, Annan Athletic and Warrington Town.

Manager Steve Wilkes was delighted with his latest acquisition, saying, “Absolutely thrilled to get a player of Fins quality to agree to join the club”.

“He had options from clubs in the leagues above so really pleased he’s chosen Ramsbottom. He already knows a few of the lads, which will make the transition easier.

“Really looking forward to working with Fin and seeing him hopefully scoring a few goals along the way.”

As mentioned above, there’s already some familiar faces for Fin who said of his move, “Can’t wait to get going and meet the lads. I already know a few of the boys – Jay, Benno, Fin and Harvey”.

“Also looking forward to working back with Rob who I’ve known really well since playing under him at Preston.

“Hoping to really help the team push on and get over the line come April in terms of promotion after what’s been a great first half of the season for the club.”
