HOLLAND-WILKINSON COMMITS TO THE CLUB

Prolific forward Jacob Holland-Wilkinson signing his contract with the Rams.

We are thrilled to announce that Jacob Holland-Wilkinson has committed his immediate future to Ramsbottom United by signing a contract for the remainder of the season. 

The prolific forward has become a firm fan-favourite at the HWRS since his arrival in the summer and is enjoying a real purple patch with 20 goals from his 22 starts so far this campaign. 

“Great to get Jacob signed up,” said manager Steve Wilkes.

“He’s playing with a smile on his face and enjoying his football and this has shown in not just his goal tally but his all round performances.

“Quite a few clubs have enquired about him but he said he’s happy at Ramsbottom and long may that continue!”

Local lad Jacob was equally delighted in putting pen to paper with the club. “It was a no brainer for me,” said Holland-Wilkinson.

“I don’t want to be playing my football anywhere else and couldn’t even imagine myself playing anywhere else right now.

“Since I’ve joined I’ve felt nothing but love off all the staff and fans at the club. The gaffer put his faith in me and I hope I have repaid him for that, and will continue to do so.

“Fingers crossed we keep this momentum going and get the club back to where it belongs!”
